Student Recitals Information

Registration fee per student:
  • $12.00 for Fall/Spring Recitals
  • ​$15.00 for Play Nicely Recital
CFMTA members are invited to enter students in the CFMTA Student Recitals. Students at all levels of advancement are accepted. These recitals are designed to give students public performing experience.

Fall Prelude - "Meet and Greet" for Teachers
Teachers can find out details about this year’s events, listen to 2022 Sonata-Sonatina Festival
winners perform and socialize with colleagues.

Spring Recital

Special Ensemble Recital - “Play Nicely with Others!”

Rules


  1. ​​​​For complete rules and repertoire guidelines, please read the  Non-Competitive Events Guidelines page.
  2. The chairperson will accept the first three entries from each teacher, representing no more than 15 minutes total playing time. No one student or ensemble may perform for more than 10 minutes.
  3. Students will be accepted in the order in which the applications are received by the chairperson.
  4. Additional (late) entries will be considered if time permits.
  5. Solo works are to be performed from memory. Ensemble performers may use the score.
  6. Students must check in with the chairperson NO LATER than 15 minutes prior to the performance or they will not be permitted to play.
